Meta Data Modifier for macOS
Meta Data Modifier collects no data about you, and has no way to send anything anywhere.
In short: the app has no network access at all. Nothing you open with it is transmitted, uploaded, logged or shared. There is no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no third-party code of any kind.
Information the app collects
None. Meta Data Modifier does not collect, store or transmit personal information. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no in-app purchases.
Your files
Meta Data Modifier reads and changes only the files and folders you give it, by dragging them onto the window or selecting them yourself. It runs inside Apple's App Sandbox, which prevents it from reaching anything else on your Mac.
File contents, names, dates and metadata are processed entirely on your Mac and never leave it. The developer has no access to them.

All of this stays on your Mac. Removing the app removes it.
Network access
The app requests no network entitlement, so macOS itself prevents it from making any network connection. This is not a promise about intent — it is enforced by the operating system.
Third parties
Meta Data Modifier contains no third-party frameworks, SDKs, trackers or advertising libraries. No data is shared with anyone, because none is gathered.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children under 13.
Purchases
Meta Data Modifier is sold through the Mac App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple, and the developer never receives your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date below. The app will not begin collecting data without this policy saying so.
